HELLO THERE, Calloway Family! October 7, 2025 THE 2025 REUNION WAS ANOTHER GREAT GET-TOGETHER!
Although it was raining on Saturday morning, September 27th, the sun came out right on time to set the stage for a great day of fellowship, fun and fishing at Calloway Hill! The final count was 22 adults, as the young Calloways who often attend were busy with their various activities or sick at the last minute. In the photo above, the first cousins are seated - the children of the original 7 Calloway children of Atha and Earl Calloway. We certainly missed everyone who could not attend, but it was great to have so many make the long distance trips to be there! Family members came to Concord from Colorado, Florida, Maryland, South Carolina and North Carolina. We missed Uncle Albert, 97 years old now, and Lorine, but we passed the phone around for them to talk to many of the relatives at Calloway Hill that day. The picnic lunch was delicious - NC bbq, fried chicken, deviled eggs, slaw, salad, baked beans, banana pudding, brownies, chocolate candies. To end the day pizzas were delivered for those who were still there! The fish were biting, as usual, down at the lake. It was truly a fun-filled day for all! I'm sure Grandmaw and Grandpa Calloway along with all their children in Heaven - Frances, Harold, Don, Bub, Nancy and Becky continue to be pleased that so many of their descendants enjoy spending at least one day at year at Calloway Hill!
Reunion photos appear below and on the Reunions page of this website. I apologize that the photos are not organized in order - it's a random collection! Enjoy!!
I'll solicit more photos for the Family Albums at a later date.
Blessings to each of you! ECP
